Worked on the identity of TDFT: a food truck for Australian (or Australia-based) dog owners, looking for a dog treat and a human-coffee. The design needed to be playful but chic, and easy to spot at a distance.
The development of this logo/identity was a very particular process: what Laura needed first was the truck design, but for that she needed an identity, an identity for which she couldn't wait that long.
We decided that the best thing to do was to develop the identity for the truck. And develop the truck design as we developed the identity.
This projects, as with everything I've worked on (luckily) was always back and forth, constant communication with the client. That's why I say "we developed": crafting a genuine brand identity, specially for small businesses or startups, is a very personal process. The client, with me, will always have the last word. I'm an operator, a channel to bring their vision to life.
